Today members of the Collective Learning Partnership representing trade unions, employers, educational establishments and new members gathered in the Scottish Parliament. Chaired by Kevin Lindsay of ASLEF, High on the agenda is tackling the digital divide skills gap across workplaces in the face of new technology, also being debated are workplace pensions and how they relate to state pension in terms of member benefits, and finally our comprehensive modern languages program which is being delivered across Scotland.
Today also sees the addition of a new member in the form of the RMT. Finally the Collective Learning Partnership website will be launched at today’s meeting. Any feedback and comments will be very welcome.
